Privacy policy

This policy explains how Codext GmbH, Frankenstraße 10, 74549 Wolpertshausen, Germany ("we") handles personal information through Snoozeloom. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and, as a German company, the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

What we collect

• When you order: name, email, delivery address, optional mobile number, what you bought and what you paid. You enter card or wallet details on Stripe's page; they never reach our server.
• When you browse: the pages you view, the bundle you choose, the website or ad that sent you (for example utm tags, the Meta click id fbclid or the TikTok click id ttclid), your browser type and, at checkout, your IP address.
• When you write to us: your message and email address.

Advertising pixels and cookies

We advertise on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. To measure which ads lead to sales and to show our ads to people more likely to be interested, this site can use:

• Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd and Meta Platforms, Inc.). The pixel runs in your browser and sets the cookies _fbp and _fbc. When you buy, our server also sends Meta the purchase with your email, phone, name, city, state, postcode and country in hashed (scrambled) form, your IP address, browser type and the Meta cookies, so Meta can match it to an ad.
• TikTok Pixel and TikTok Events API (TikTok Technology Limited and TikTok Pte. Ltd.). The pixel sets the cookie _ttp. When you buy, our server sends TikTok the purchase with your hashed email and phone, IP address, browser type and the TikTok click id.
• Our own first-party cookies: sl_attr (which ad or page sent you, 30 days), sl_ttclid (TikTok click id, 30 days), _fbc (Meta click id, 90 days) and sl_internal (marks our own team's browsers so we do not count ourselves).

These tools are active on this site. Meta and TikTok use this information under their own privacy policies and may combine it with what they know about you. We do not sell your personal information.

Your choices

• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a content blocker. The shop still works.
• Control ads you see on Facebook and Instagram in Meta's ad preferences, and on TikTok under Settings and privacy, Ads.
• Email [email protected] and we stop sending your purchase data to Meta and TikTok for future orders.

Why we use your information

To deliver your order, send confirmations and tracking, handle refunds and guarantee claims, answer your messages, keep our accounts as the law requires, measure and improve our ads, and prevent fraud.

Who receives it

• Stripe (payments) and, if you choose it, PayPal.
• CJdropshipping, our fulfilment partner, receives your name, address, phone and email to pack and ship your order from its warehouse in China, and passes them to the carriers that deliver it, such as Australia Post.
• Cloudflare sends our emails and protects the website.
• Hetzner hosts our server in Germany.
• Meta and TikTok, as described above.

Overseas disclosure

We are based in Germany, so your information is held overseas. It is also disclosed to recipients in China (fulfilment), the United States and Ireland (Stripe, PayPal, Meta, Cloudflare) and Singapore and other countries (TikTok). We only share what each one needs and require them to protect it.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for 10 years because German tax law requires it. Page statistics are kept for 2 years. Messages are deleted when the matter is closed, at the latest after 2 years.

Email

We send emails about your order. We do not send newsletters. If you agree to marketing emails at checkout, we may send one reminder if your checkout is not completed, and nothing else.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete what the law allows us to delete. Write to [email protected]; we reply within 30 days. If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or to the data protection authority of Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
